Most of the teas are caffeine free or herbal, there are however a few teas that are low caffeine. We have listed the caffeine level of each tea in the description as well as on the packaging.

Herbal teas are not derived from a traditional tea plant. The term ‘herbal’ refers to the process of steeping other plants or fruits in hot water.

These teas keep fresh for about 1-2 years. While you can still brew the tea after that, the taste and smell may not be as potent or delicious. We recommend consuming within a year.

Leaves of Leisure tea bags are crafted from corn based polylatic acid (PLA). Our tea pouch material is fully biodegradeable and compostable using commercial composting facilities. Commercial composting facilities use higher temperatures than backyard compost piles and are capable of handling the renewable PLA used in our tea sachets. Please look into commercial composting facilities in your area!

Prefer loose leaf tea? We are actually working on offering loose leaf tea on our website, but in the meantine, you can email us at hello@leavesofleisure.comand give us your order number and state that you prefer the tea to come loose leaf! We will pack it in a home compostable bag and will come in the same canister as the sachets normally do :)
