Meet Ellen Postolowski, an author, nutrition-based chef and health coach. Ellen received her culinary degree from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, Colorado. In this journey, Ellen earned a reputation as a health-minded chef, coaching those seeking improved food choices for themselves and their families. After 30 years in the industry, Chef Ellen felt she needed to reinvent herself. Continuing education transformed her into a certified holistic health educator with multiple certifications in gut and hormonal health, focused on food and balance in every aspect of an individual's life.
What is your company and what do you do?
I'm an author, chef, and integrative health coach. With my new book, Gut Driven, I help clients achieve optimal well-being and feed their bodies the most nutritious foods on and off the plate. My focus is optimal gut health and the critical functions it plays throughout our bodies. I help clients find a sustainable practice that works best for them as individuals.
How do you start your morning? Give us a play by play-- time you get up, 3-5 things you do to start your day.
Meditation for 10 minutes, celery juice, warm lemon water, pilates and walking my dog.
What advice do you have for other female entrepreneurs looking to create healthier and invigorating morning routines and habits?
A good night's sleep makes any morning routine more manageable. Consistency creates sustainable habits and do what makes you happy. If you struggle with and fight a change, take baby steps and make sure the change bring you joy.
What are some of your favorite leisure activities?
Ice skating, reading, snow boarding, car drives and a good movie!
